SDS Management Services

IDS professionals provide SDS management services to assist their clients in the implementation of their compliance strategies. Our services include:-

This involves data capturing from the SDS PDF documents and populating the various SDS document fields in the online client application as per the client's indexing specifications. Typical guaranteed average data accuracy is 97%.

Under Obtainment process, IDS staff obtain the corresponding SDS document (for each chemical product assigned to them) from the manufacturer's website. Under Renewal process, IDS staff analyze and compare the old SDS provided by the client with the SDS available on manufacturer 's website. If the SDS on manufacturer website is current, same is downloaded and uploaded to client on their online application. Typical quality SLA for correctly declaring SDS document 'found'/'not found' is 90%.

Trained staff carry out subjective evaluation and classification of the assigned chemical products from corresponding SDS for Health, Flammability, Reactivity, PPE and other hazards pertaining to the chemical ingredients present in a particular product based on client guidelines. Typical accuracy SLA for classification is 98%.

This service involves providing waste management classification of SDS documents in compliance with the federal TRIC or non- RCRA regulations. IDS trained staff review and classify the received SDS and apply the US Federal and other state codes (CA, CT, FL, IL, IN, KY, MA, ME, MI, MD, MN, MO, NE, NH, NY, OR, RI, SC, TX, UT, VT, and WA) for waste management to these documents with an accuracy of above 95%.

Regulatory Research and Reporting Services
